The Network for Aviation Museums, CIMUSET’s first Special Interest Group, invites aviation museum professionals and institutions worldwide to submit abstracts for its 2026 webinar: Original, Replica, Reproduction: Collecting Aircraft.

The webinar explores one of the central questions facing aviation museums today: how do we collect, preserve, define, and communicate original aircraft, replicas, and reproductions? Through shared experiences, institutional cases, and collection practices, the webinar aims to strengthen international exchange and develop a deeper understanding of authenticity in aviation collections.

We welcome contributions from museums and professionals interested in sharing collection guidelines, practical experiences, challenges, and reflections.
