CIMUSET is pleased to announce the publication of Within the Digital: Opportunities and Challenges in Science Museums, bringing together contributions from the 51st CIMUSET Annual Conference, held at the Vienna Museum of Science and Technology in September 2024.

The publication explores how digital transformation is reshaping science and technology museums around the world. Contributions address a wide range of topics, including digitisation and digital collections, artificial intelligence, accessibility and participation, social media and audience engagement, virtual museums, and the challenges of collecting and preserving born-digital heritage.
