CIMUSET’s first Special Interest Group, the Network for Aviation Museums, aims to build practical and beneficial collaborative relationships between aviation museums around the world. Aviation museums refers museums with content and collection related with aerospace in its various senses: transport, science and technology, design, history, way of life itself, and so on.

The most important initiatives of the network are the practical training workshops for aviation museum professionals that we will be running in 2025 and collaborative projects in the area of creating exhibition, developing educational program, managing collections, and etc between aviation museums.
